Valentine’s Day is approaching and much of the country (and world) are still under some form of lockdown for the Coronavirus. I know many of us would love nothing more than a night out with our sweetie (without the children of course) at our favorite restaurant. Since that isn’t possible (or advisable) for many of us, let’s make the best of eating at home by cooking up a special Valentine’s Day treat. Our Vegan Valentine’s Day Dessert Round-up should give you a good start.
All 13 of the desserts in this collection are vegan and gluten-free and some are oil-free. You might notice that I included several desserts that <gasp> do not contain chocolate. So whether you or your loved ones are on Team Chocolate or not, there should be something here for everyone. Let me know what you ended up making by tagging us on Instagram, FB or Twitter.
Let’s get this party started!
Rocky Road Brownies by Plantivores. This is one of the most popular recipes on my blog and for good reason!
Vegan Meringue Kisses by Lazy Cat Kitchen. These look so fancy! Ania puts beet juice in the bag while she is piping the meringues to get these lovely shades of red and pink.
No-Bake Red Velvet Cake Balls by Minimalist Baker. If you are short on time, these only take 10 minutes and 7 ingredients to make, so more time to spend with your sweetie.
4-Ingredient Raspberry Mousse Heart Chocolates by The Loopy Whisk. These little hearts look so fancy don’t they? I mean, they just smack of Valentine’s Day. And they are filled with raspberry cream. Omigod. Just be sure to start the day before as they need to freeze overnight.
4-Ingredient Peanut Butter and Chocolate S’mores Bark. My friend Jenny over at Good For You Gluten Free has this lovely recipe with only 4 ingredients. Chocolate, peanut butter, graham crackers and marshmallows– what’s not to love? Nom, nom, nom.
Cherry Pecan Trail Mix Cookies by Plantivores. Don’t let the terrible picture fool you. One day I’ll take a better picture. But these cookies are pretty outstanding and are something a little different for V-Day. They are also pretty healthy. So there’s that.
Vegan Banana Split by Simple Vegan Blog. This is so creative and something a bit different to try for V-Day. It looks so good!
Gluten Free Vegan Soft Frosted Sugar Cookies by Sarah Bakes Gluten Free. Well these cookies are just picture perfect for a holiday filled with tones of pink and red. And everything I’ve made from Sarah’s blog has been just fantastic!
Vegan Chocolate Valentine’s Cupcakes by The Vegan 8. Now if these aren’t the prettiest cupcakes I’ve ever seen for Valentine’s Day I don’t know what is. Brandi does it again with another divine creation.
5-Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Turtles by Minimalist Baker. These are so cute and simple and would make a great gift for that special someone.
Vegan Chocolate Mousse by Chocolate Covered Katie. This mousse. Yum. That is all.
Gluten-free Vegan Whoopie Pies by Sarah Bakes Gluten Free. I’ve made several of Sarah’s Whoopie Pies before and they are all good! Try these chocolate heart-shaped pies for a special someone.
Vanilla Crème Brûlée by Vegan Yack Attack. Not a chocolate fan? That’s weird but ok. LOL. Give this vanilla creme brulee a shot.
So there you have it, our Vegan Valentine’s Day Dessert Round-up. I hope you can find something here you like and that you have a Valentine’s Day filled with love!
